Srvd Gigs Booking Agreement

Srvd Gigs Booking Agreement

Last updated: July 3, 2026 · Part of the Munchor Marketplace Terms

Plain-language summary: When a gig is booked on Srvd Gigs, the client pays Munchor the full accepted amount up front. The vendor gets half their pay as an advance within 48–72 hours (so they can buy ingredients and supplies) and the other half after the event wraps. Munchor keeps a 10% platform fee. Posting a gig, placing a bid, or accepting a bid means you agree to everything below.

1. Who this covers and how it's accepted

This Agreement applies to every gig posted, bid on, or booked through Srvd Gigs, and binds three parties: the Client (the person posting the gig), the Vendor (the food professional whose bid is accepted), and Munchor Market (the platform). You accept this Agreement by posting a gig, submitting a bid, or accepting a bid — no signature needed.

2. How a booking works

  • Client posts a gig; approved Vendors submit bids in the gig thread. Any number of Vendors may bid.
  • The Client accepts one bid on the gig page. Munchor then emails the Client a secure invoice for the accepted amount.
  • The booking is confirmed only when that invoice is paid. Until then, no one is committed.
  • All discussion stays in the gig thread; contact details are exchanged only after a booking is confirmed, as needed to perform the event.

3. Fees

Munchor's platform fee for Srvd Gigs is 10% of the accepted booking amount (this covers client acquisition, payment collection and protection, the advance payout program, and dispute handling). The Vendor share is 90% of the booking. Payment processing is included in the platform fee — no other charges to either party.

4. Payout schedule — the advance + balance model

Example: $1,000 booking

Client pays Munchor: $1,000 at acceptance

Platform fee (10%): $100 — Vendor share: $900

Advance (50% of Vendor share): $450 within 48–72 hours of the payment clearing — shop for ingredients, hire help, get ready

Balance: $450 within 48–72 hours after event completion

  • Advance: 50% of the Vendor share is released within 48–72 hours after the Client's payment clears. This exists because we know food businesses need working capital before an event — getting you to your money is the point of this platform.
  • Balance: the remaining 50% is released within 48–72 hours after event completion. An event is complete 48 hours after the scheduled event date/time unless the Client raises a dispute in that window.
  • Payout timing is subject to bank and payment-processor processing times.
  • Munchor may, at its discretion, delay or reduce the advance for new Vendors, Vendors with open disputes, or unusually large bookings — if so, the Vendor is told before the booking is confirmed.

5. Vendor obligations — the work guarantee

By accepting the advance, the Vendor commits to deliver the event as described in their bid: right food, right quantity, right time, right place, prepared safely and legally per the Marketplace Terms. The balance payout is the guarantee mechanism — it only releases when the work is done and undisputed.

6. Cancellations and refunds

  • Client cancels 7+ days before the event: full refund.
  • Client cancels 3–7 days before: 50% refund; the retained half compensates the Vendor's preparation (paid to the Vendor, less the platform fee).
  • Client cancels less than 72 hours before: no refund of the advance portion (the Vendor has already shopped); the balance portion is refunded.
  • Vendor cancels at any time, or fails to show: the Client receives a full refund. Any advance already paid must be returned and may be recovered from the Vendor's other Munchor payouts. No-shows result in account suspension or termination.
  • Refunds are always issued by Munchor through the original payment method — never directly between the parties.

7. Disputes

The Client has 48 hours after the scheduled event to raise a dispute (email munchormarket@gmail.com with the order number). While a dispute is open, the balance payout is held. Munchor reviews both sides in good faith and decides how the held balance is allocated; both parties agree to accept that determination as final for platform purposes. Disputes cannot claw back food already properly delivered — they address non-delivery, material shortfalls, or safety issues.

8. Payment only through Munchor

All payments related to a Srvd Gigs engagement — deposits, balances, tips arranged in advance, add-ons — must flow through Munchor. Off-platform payment is a violation of the Marketplace Terms (section 6) and voids all payment protection, and can end a Vendor's account.

9. Taxes and independent status

Vendors are independent businesses — not employees, agents, or contractors of Munchor — and are solely responsible for their own taxes on gig income, permits, insurance, and legal compliance. Munchor provides transaction records; tax treatment is the Vendor's responsibility.

10. Changes and contact

Munchor may update this Agreement with notice; the version in effect when a booking is confirmed governs that booking. Questions: munchormarket@gmail.com.
